Ten Steps to Professional Web Type
- Don't use too many fonts on 1 page (General Rule: 2 fonts per page)
- Don't use centered,right or full justified text on a web page
- Give text room to breathe
- Do not use bold text for paragraph text
- Don't use capitalized text
- Use plenty of headlines and subheads
- Divide Pages into columns
- Don't use huge text
- Don't use underlined text for anything but links
- Don't treat text as nothing but text. It's a major design element
